Best coffee in Glasgow. Friendliest Barista ever! The Espressos always taste amazing. Plant based milk available too. Would definitely recommend the chorizo mozzarella croissant and there are also plenty of cakes and vegetarian options too, something for everyone ! Great atmosphere and a cute seating area both at the front of the shop and a cosy one through the back.

The West End’s Most Beloved Barista. Incredible place to chat with friends, study, or grab something on the go. I go every week, as Hugh has created such a sweet community of patrons that remind me of home.

The Grumpy Barista is a brilliant coffee shop. Ran by the charming and friendly Hugh, it is the perfect West End spot to sip the day away. Perfect for reading or a little chit chat - accompanied by delicious coffees and snacks both savoury and sweet.

I ordered an iced coffee, and it was hands down the best I’ve had in Finnieston so far. Perfectly balanced and not underpowered with milk the way some places tend to go. The sticky toffee cake was equally great. Would recommend

This place was incredible! I was studying abroad for 4 months and so dissapointed I only found it a week before I had to leave. The food is incredible and a good value for the money and surprised it wasn't more and the mocha was the best I had while there. The owner is one of the sweetest people I've met in Glasgow and the atmosphere is just great! So sad I no longer can go.

Had a great visit to Grumpy Barista. The coffee was excellent, alternative milks also available, syrups, cakes and the owner was genuinely lovely and welcoming. It’s a really nice spot with a relaxed atmosphere — will definitely be back.
